My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi- I'm Joey! I'm approx. 8 mo. young (mid-April 2016) and am neutered, vetted and ready for adoption at A4A. My life started out pretty tough. I was tossed out of a moving car on a busy road by a group of young boys. Thankfully a Good Samaritan stopped to save me and brought me to safety at A4A. I am very sweet. I love to be petted and to curl up with you too. I also love to play and I do great with other cats. I prefer a calm home with lots of love (no small children under 5-- as being chased scares me). I will be shy at first (I come from an abusive past). I need to feel safe and that I can trust you. I take a bit longer to warm up to men, but I do great with anyone when they are calm, kind and gentle to me. I do prefer a home that has another cat (I enjoy playing). Once I know you are kind and gentle with me and that I can trust you- I am incredibly sweet. I love to play, love to sit on your lap and love to snuggle. I am happy, healthy and ready for adoption! I am a Russian Blue/Domestic Short Hair mix. Are you read to meet/adopt me?
