Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Maddie is a 3 year old, 23 pound Feist. A Feist is a small dog of uncertain ancestry. They are generally small (shorter than 18" and weigh less than 30 pounds). There is little to no consistency in appearance or breed type
.
Maddie is from a Kentucky shelter. Taken there when her people moved to town from a farm.
She's a sweet, chubby girl that craves human attention. Maddie adapts quickly to a daily routine. She is not destructive but is curious and adventurous. Maddie feels it's her duty to check out anything and everything left on the floor at her level.
Maddie likes one on one dog play but is indifferent when in a large group of dogs. A dog park would not thrill her. She thinks cats are okay too.
Maddie walks well on a leash and is crate and house trained. Maddie adores big fluffy dog beds but would be happy to share your bed at night.
Maddie has been overlooked because she isn't your typical "glamour girl". We think she's beautiful inside and out and certainly deserves a place to call her own.
