Here's what the humans have to say about me:
They seriously don't make them any sweeter than this.....Ellie has been breaking hearts since she arrived here in early March when she was found as a stray. This adorable and sweet 7 year old beagle must have been abandoned by her owner because she is not at all the type to wander too far away from you. Ellie seems a bit shy when she first meets you and her eyes grow wide with anticipation of what is going to happen next, but it literally takes her just seconds to check you out and then decide that you're her new best friend. It's a bit difficult to walk Ellie because all she wants to do is flop on her back and have you rub her belly, but she is extremely well behaved, gentle, mellow, and mild mannered. Ellie will sit and offer you a pawshake when asked, and she is a even great for the groomer and the vet. She may not be a puppy but she has plenty of spunk when it comes to running and enjoying herself in our exercise yard. She has a ball zooming around and is sure to come back to you frequently to check in. Ellie doesn't seem to mind other dogs and just adores people. She would do best in an easy going home where there is not a lot of commotion. Ellie will bring joy and happiness to your life if you give her a chance. File#26035 3/1/16
