PInky's Story...
Pinky is a 5 month old Chihuahua mix that's just a sweetheart. This nice girl was given to a family by their pastor. Unfortunately the family's landlord would not let them keep her. Pinky's family said she was good with everyone in the family including their kids. It may be best if kids are over 6 years of age due to her size. She has not been around other dogs or cats. Pinky was trained on potty pads. She has not been outside much at all due to the cold. She also does not know how to walk up and down stairs. Pinky is a cute pup with an endearing personality hoping to find her forever home ASAP. Puppies are adopted out on a first come, first serve basis. Pinky was adopted for a few days and returned. Her owner said she was too needy and would get a little nippy if she tried to take Pinky off of her lap. Pinky is a sweet puppy that just needs time to adjust. She's a baby and craves love and affection.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PInky, a Elyria Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
