Sassy's Story...
Good day, friends. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sassy. I'm a 2 year old little lady weighing just 47 pounds. I had some hook and whip worms that AGB is treating for me, but other than that I'm in good health. I have a good Samaritan to thank for that. You see, I had not been treated kindly, was not well fed, and my owner even threatened to shoot me before a nice lady took me in and saved me. I stayed with her a few weeks but she was not able to keep me so she contacted AGB and they agreed to take me in and find a loving home for me. Everyone here says Iím a sweet girl. I am great around other dogs. I met this thing called a cat and I was interested in it but I didnít chase or bother it. I also like the little people, you know, the ones you call kids. Some sudden movements or noises make me a little scared, but Iím sure with a little love and care I can put those fears behind me. If you want to add a sweet, loving, "sassy" young lady to your family, I am just the girl for you! Go ahead and submit your application to AGB and tell them you want to meet me. Your friend, Sassy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassy, a BIRMINGHAM Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
