Moxie's Story...
Hi! My name is Moxie. I am a gentle, petite 1 1/2 year old girl with gray tabby/tortie mix short hair. I am spayed, up-to-date on my vaccinations and still have my claws. I am an indoor cat that is active and playful. I previously lived with a big dog and older kids and we all got along just fine. I think I would do okay with other cats as I have quickly made myself at home at the Welcome Center cattery. I am easy to get in my carrier and ride quietly in the car. I love attention, like to be brushed and if you come visit me, I will soon be your lap kitty when you take a seat. I would love to meet you, so make an appointment to visit today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moxie, a Colorado Springs Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
