My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Avalanche is a 2 year old Lab mix that is a unique reddish color with some chocolate mixed in. He came to Lucky Lab Rescue with a few scars and missing fur on his body that told us he did not have such a great start to his young life.
Now he is having fun and getting lots of love in his foster home. His foster mom says he is fun, happy as his tail is always wagging, very loving and full of puppy antics. He really enjoys playing outside with the other dogs in his foster home. He loves to snuggle with his foster mom and freely gives her lots of kisses.
Avalanche is crate trained and house trained. He would do best in an experienced dog home that is ready to continue working with him to learn obedience and the lay of the land. He is treat motivated and should do very well in basic obedience classes.
He does pull on the leash when walking, but walks much better when wearing a walking harness.
Due to his puppiness, it would be best if he lives with children over the age of 6. He still likes to jump, but is working on this.
Avalanche does well with the kitties in his foster home. He wants to play with each of them and is gentle with them.
Avalanche is neutered, microchipped, on flea/heartworm preventative and current on all his vaccinations.
