I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Jaxson is a gorgeous, purebred Lab about 2 years old and weighs in at 85 pounds. He came into Lucky Lab Rescue with heartworms. He has been successfully treated.
Like many people, Jaxson has anxiety issues and is being treated with medication that he takes twice daily. He wants to be with his foster mom and becomes apprehensive when left alone. With behaivor modification, he is learning that she does return. He occupies his mind with treat balls and likes to gather up the dirty laundry.
Jaxson loves to join his foster mom for car rides. He does this when she goes places that he can join her in the store. He should not be left alone iin the car.
Jaxson enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He likes chew toys and playing ball. He ignores the kitties.
Jaxson knows to sit for a treat and takes them very gently. He walks very well when wearing a walking harness.
Due to his size, he would do best with older children in the home. Jaxson likes to have a routine and does very well with repetitive activity. He would do best in an environment where someone is home most of the day. He is very loving and is gaining confidence in himself. He should excel in obedience classes.
He does not feel safe in a crate, so he is left out when his foster mom leaves the house.
Jaxson is neutered, microchipped, on flea/heartworm preventative and current on all his vaccinations.
