D0217's Story...
I'm a pretty Husky that was brought into the shelter as a stray. I am now available for adoption. I'm about 4-5 years old and 57lbs. I'm a playful and friendly girl! I like doggie toys, playing fetch and going for walks! I'm good with other dogs, cats and kids too!!! I may be housetrained also! As part of a commitment to reducing pet overpopulation, I will be adopted out on a spay contract which includes a deposit that will be refunded when you provide proof from you veterinarian that I have been altered, which MUST be done within 30 DAYS of my adoption!! If you are interested in me and you can provide a loving responsible forever home please contact the shelter and don't forget to include my ID number! If you don't plan to honor the adoption contract and have me spayed and keep me up to date on my shots, please don't adopt me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

D0217, a Ladysmith Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Ladysmith, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Ladysmith.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ladysmith already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ladysmith breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ladysmith paves the way for another one to be saved.
