Missy is a young 15 year old female severe macaw. Her and Bungee came to AHW for the saddest reason, their mom is in late stage breast cancer, so they came to us.
The birds are not bonded and can be adopted individually. Missy is very funny, will say step up literally asking you come and play! Missy is very hands on, an amazing Severe that will make a wonderful family member. Needs a home that is looking for a very interactive bird - if you are looking to adopt a feathered child, come meet these amazing awesome birds!!!
Fully vetted and disease tested, healthy with no concerns!!
Adoption Process:Fill out our online adoption application which can be found on our website, www.ahelpingwing.org (no phone calls please). A representative from A Helping Wing will be in touch to answer all questions and discuss setting up a first visit. Multiple visits are required before adoption. Although there is no application fee, there is an adoption fee, which covers food, medical care, etc., and allows us to continue our efforts in rescuing, caring for, and finding homes for all of our birds. All birds at AHW have been vetted and have negative tests for any disease before they are made available for adoption!
