Betsy's Story...
Hi! My name is Betsy and I am 3 years young. I am a pug mix...super sweet, loving gal looking for her forever home. I was sick with heartworms, but my friends at K9 Mill Rescue treated me, updated my vaccines and even gave me a microchip! I am super happy, walk great on a leash, house-trained and would love to snuggle with you. I get along fine with other dogs, but really I just love people and will do my best to keep you smiling. If you want to meet ,please fill out an application at: My adoption fee is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a Hurst Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Hurst, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Hurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
