Stella is a beautiful 1 year old blue pit bull with eyes that will melt your heart. Stella has struggled all of her life with bladder leakage, bladder infections, and urinary tract infections. Last October she underwent a surgery to repair ectopic uretera which stopped her constant leaking and now she is not needing to wear her doggy diaper. She is currently taking DES and Proin and that helps with dripping problems.
Despite her medical issues, Stella is a very active, loving, playful dog. She does amazing with kids of all ages, is a bit too interested in cats, and not the best with dogs. She is crate trained, knows how to sit, do down, and is mostly house trained. She really tries to hold it, but if not taken out about every hour when out of her crate she might have an accident. She is used to sleeping in her crate, and does really well "kenneling up" when she is told. Now she is used to getting some tummy rubs before she goes into the kennel for bed. In the morning she goes straight outside to pee, then gets a little love, then right back out to finish her business. She is a gobbler when it comes to her food, and will engorge herself if you let her. She is also quite sneaky and has been known to remove the lid from her food container and help herself to as much food as she would like. Stella does need to have access to fresh water at all times to keep flushing her kidneys. If she does not have water she will drink until she throws it all up, she can be a little piggy sometimes.
Stella is an amazing dog, with lots of love and kisses to give.
