Stormy came to us with almost no hair, underfed, bloated, sad, neglected, and in general poor condition. Although a little shy in the beginning, she warmed up quickly and her happy and loving personality took over. Her hair has filled in nicely and is silky soft with a little curl to it. Stormy wants the simple things in life...a comfy bed, food, lots of love, and to be talked to. She has been diagnosed with Cushings disease which requires medication once a day with her morning meal. She also has heartworms, but we will continue to pay for that treatment until she tests negative. She can get a little excited from time to time, nothing too much to handle, actually really adorable. When she is happy/excited she smiles so big and walks in circles wagging her tail a mile a minute. She is still learning how to play with people and other dogs but she gets along just fine with little dogs (that's what's in her foster home). Because of the Cushings she drinks a lot, so regular access to the outdoors is needed. Stormy is a wonderful companion who just wants to be with you and she deserves a home that adores her. She is about 7-8 years old.
