Bart's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Bart's Story...
Bart is a very sweet but shy boy. He is curious about his surroundings, but has had very little human interaction and acts fearful and cowers and runs. He does however loves to play with other dogs and toys. He will let you touch him with patients and slow movements and he does follow people around to watch what they are doing. Bart would need an adopter who has experience working with animals and helping him come out of his shell. He would thrive in a home with another dog to help him learn to trust people. A fenced yard is a must. You must be 21 or older to adopt and a MI resident. For more information call Sharen at 517-548-5720

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bart, a Howell Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Howell, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
