Sandy is a catahoula mix, female, about one year of age 57 pounds. She was found in the middle of the road, searching every vehicle that passed, and following until she was left behind. She is sweet and affectionate, and seems to have a submissive personality. She learns fast, but without some training, would not be good for small children, as she does jump on people for attention. She will chase cats, it is not known if she would hurt them. She does like other dogs, and she knows how to raise a gate latch to open it. She is a very clever dog!
If you think that I am somebody you would like to love, please email WAGS at email@example.com to arrange to meet me.
WAGS adoption fee is $125.00 for dogs and puppies. The fee covers the spay or neuter surgery, up to date vaccinations and deworming. We have an adoption form that all potential adopters fill out. There is an informal interview conducted when you meet the dogs, to determine what kind of home you will provide for a pet.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
