Siegel's Story...
Meet Siegel

Formerly named Beagle, I needed a more proper, manly name.
I’m 9 lbs of love!
I have a few extra pounds to lose but I’m right on track!
Years of neglect have done nothing to break my spirit, I’m a happy little love bug. I live well with many other dogs & I like to chase the cat but only to play

Neutered, UTD on shots, HW -, blood panel complete, full dental done, I’m healthy as can be..
You’d never believe I’m 8 years old. I’m a little guy so I have many years left to keep your lap warm & heart full. I adore my foster momma, play well with gentle older children & just love to snuggle
I love to cuddle under the blankets or really anything you’ll let me get under

House trained of course, I have manners!
Won’t you let me keep your couch warm? I am a fun sweet spirit just looking for love. I’d do well just about anywhere, prefer children to be 10 or older please!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Siegel, a Alamosa Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Alamosa, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Alamosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alamosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alamosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alamosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
