Facts about Aragorn

  • Breed: Australian Shepherd Mix
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Unknown
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 9863552-8832

Aragorn is a laid back guy who loves to go for a walk (and walks quite nicely on a leash), hang out in the yard with his people and lay at your feet. He is not a high energy dog, he is just looking for a home that will enjoy him for the kind gentle soul he is. Aragorn gets along well with other dogs, is crate trained and housebroken. Unfortunately, this boy spent the first eight years of his life stuck in a backyard with very little human interaction, so he is hoping to find a nice home with a new family that will treasure him for the wonderful dog he is. Please let us know if you would like to meet Aragorn at our home, because of his limited experiences, he finds the chaos of adoption events to be a little overwhelming.

About A Forever Home Rescue Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

A Forever-Home Rescue Foundation is a non-profit animal rescue group that operates in the Northern Virginia / Washington Metropolitan area. We strive to make quality dogs available for adoption and do our best to match prospective adopters with the right animal!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Adoption events are held at Petco in the Greenbriar Shopping Center every Sunday from 1-4 pm. We do occassionally skip a week, so please visit our primary website at to confirm that we're having an event on the weekend you plan to attend.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption application to be filled out, an interview with one of our volunteers (this can be done at the adoption event), a home visit is required prior to the animal going to their new home. An adoption fee is required to adopt a pet from AFH. Please visit our primary website at for details.
