My name is Ruby!

Beagle Mix Dog for adoption in ST LOUIS, Missouri - Ruby

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Ruby's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ruby's Story...
This is Ruby! She's a 2.5 yr old petite beagle, weighing only ~16 lbs.
She is housebroken and crate trained, although does have an occasional accident in the house. She gets along great with the kids and other dogs. She is very loving and likes to be in your lap. She has not been around cats.
She is trained her to sit and wait for a signal before she eats, but is known to be a counter surfer! As with most Beagles, she's a barker. It's just a Beagle thing! She has other typical beagle habits such as running out the door very quickly, chases rabbits, and can squeeze through fence slats in the backyard so has to be on a leash/tether or a privacy fence.
She absolutely loves playing fetch (will bring it back) and chewing on Nylabones.
She's current on her shots, is microchipped and spayed.

Ruby's Adoption Donation is $250 and includes spay/neuter, deworming, Avid microchip, and UTD vaccinations. Ruby is being fostered in ST LOUIS, MISSOURI but transportation to the New England area is available thru ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT for an additional $140. Transportation to the Chicago area available on a limited basis for $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a ST LOUIS Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in ST LOUIS, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in ST LOUIS.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in ST LOUIS already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a ST LOUIS breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in ST LOUIS paves the way for another one to be saved.
