My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Devin. I am a very sweet, friendly, loving German Shepherd mix puppy.

I'm roughly 8 months old and I weigh 40 pounds. I am a little on the small side right now, but I'll probably gain a few pounds as I grow up.

I guess I'll go ahead and address the elephant in the room. Yes, my fur, or lack thereof, makes me look more like a hyena than a dog, but rest assured, I'm all dog. The reason I am missing hair is due to a moderate case of mange. I was living on the streets before being brought to a local high-kill shelter, so I had to get creative about finding food. Oftentimes, puppies that don't receive the right nutrition and care will come down with mange. Thankfully, the type I have is not contagious, though! It's going to take some time for my beautiful coat to completely grow back, but when it does, I'll be the best looking dog around.

I'm a very active pooch. I'm looking for a family that likes to be on the move. I would make a great running partner as I've got a lot of puppy energy to burn. Are you in need of a little extra motivation to finish that last mile? If so, I am your girl!

I would probably do best with a family that is home a decent amount of time. I'm not a huge fan of being alone. I just love people and other dogs so much that I want to be around them often. I'm a very social, outgoing girl if you haven't figure that out yet.
