My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buster came to us as an owner surrender. While hard to let him go, they knew his current home life was not what it needed to be in order to thrive to his fullest potential. He is currently 5 yrs old and petite for a bully at 37#. He came in with a major flea infestation which also gave the poor little guy tapeworms. He is now worm-free and has started to put on some weight, yay!! His skin issues from the fleas have cleared up and he looks much healthier now that he is on a quality grain-free food and in a home without fleas.
This little lovebug is a total attention hog. He loves nothing more than to be with his family and will follow you around from room to room just to protect you from being lonely. His favorite position is snuggled next to you where you are within arms-reach of giving him pets and attention. He will nudge you with his nose if you stop petting him and he feels like you are not done. How can you be done with that adorable wonky ear and those cute chocolate chip freckles looking at you?
He currently lives with two small dogs (one male and one female) and gets along very well. He does not resource guard at all, as his foster family and foster siblings can take away food, bones, treats, or toys with no comment what-so-ever. He does get into playful moods with his furry foster sister once in a while and will chase her with a tail wiggle, but only if she instigates it first. He is a hoot to watch with her. He is very well behaved with other small dogs. He is large male dog selective. He had no issues with larger male dogs while at a meet-n-greet with other bulldogs, but is a little reactive within the company of certain male dogs. His former owners said he lived with a cat, but we have not had the opportunity to expose him to any as of yet. He has been super with kids so far. The youngest we've seen him with is three and he was great. Just one more person to give me attention Buster says!
He lives in a tri-level home and has no issues with stairs. He is 100% potty trained…NO accidents what-so-ever! He takes his medicated baths like a champ, even though it is not his favorite thing to do. He is crate trained and sleeps there nightly as well as when his foster family goes to work. He'd rather go with you to work, but has no issues or attitude to going into the crate when you say so. No whining, he just goes in and lays down.
He was not good at basic commands when we got him, but now will sit on command to put on his leash to go outside, receive treats, and to clean his face and ears. He's such a good boy! He's so eager to please. He does pull on the leash when on walks, and we are continuing to work on him with that. He's just so excited to see Everything! Walks outside rank a close second to car rides. He will sit by the car door even when we are doing yard work. He doesn't want to miss an opportunity to get a ride 'just in case' we were going to take one.
He has a lot of love to give and his foster family will be very sorry to see him go since he's been such a well behaved dog.
