Honey's Story...
Sweet Honey is an awesome gal who loves to smile. She is fantastic with people and does not know a stranger! She has the beautiful face of a beagle and the soft fur. She likes to hangout with her foster brother. Honey does well on a leash and likes going for car rides. Honey is about 36 pounds and she is 8 years young. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm tested. Honey’s story has had some sad chapters! She was in a home where her former guardian had to surrender her to us because her guardian could no longer care for her due to medical reasons. She is now in a foster home with other dogs and she is learning to adjust to her new life. Honey is missing most of her right ear because it was chewed off by another dog when she was a puppy. She does not hold a grudge though and she is a happy-go lucky girl. If you would like to give sweet Honey a happy ending to her story, please complete a foster application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Evansville Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
