Speckles was abandoned with another rabbit after they had to move. They were put outside and left on their own for over two years before a neighbor was able to successfully trap them. The neighbor called animal control who baited the rabbit and was able to trap them. Speckles was relocated to the rescue and she was spayed quickly because we suspected she was pregnant. She is approx 3 years old. She weighs 7 pounds. She is a Havana mix. She had been own her own for several years so she is a little shy but not overly considered her ordeal. She is more outgoing than the male she was bonded with. We were also able to successfully trap the male the following week; who we named Bucky. Bucky and Speckles are progressing well with the litter box considering they haven't had one in several years.
