Button's Story...
Button is as cute as a button. She has a marking over her nose that gives her that name. She’s a sweet little brown tabby girl, with white paws and muzzle and bib. She is estimated to be a bit over eight years old. She is very friendly and loves to be cuddled and petted. She’ll follow you around so that you will know that she is available for petting. A few years ago, Button was hanging around outside the cat sanctuary asking to come in. She was so friendly that she must have been somebody’s pet at some time. Her owner wasn’t found, so she might have been dumped. She would love to be someone’s special kitty again. She gets along alright with other cats so is okay in a multi-cat environment. She would also be okay in a house where she is the only kitty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Button, a Naples Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naples, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Naples.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naples already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naples breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naples paves the way for another one to be saved.
