My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mousey! She's a 6 year old Jack Russell mix that was surrendered to Friendship because her owner was too ill to care for her any longer. When little Mousey warms up to you there is nothing mousey about her! She is very tentative with new people, particularly men, but once she knows you, she's a lap loving doll baby. This sweet girl loves to run up and down the driveway and enjoys playing with plush squeak toys. Mousey is great with her house training unless it's cold. In colder weather you have to coax her out the door. She likes car rides with the windows down. Mousey lived with a senior dog but has not been unsupervised with other dogs. She has not been with cats, but given the way she loves to chase rabbits and squirrels its best not to try a home with a cat. Small kids can move to fast for her timid nature, so older kids would be best. Mousey would love to be adopted into a quieter loving home. How about yours?

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
