Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hazel is amazing, plain and simple. We rescued her from our local animal control where she was brought in with multiple tumors - one being a huge mammary tumor that was 3 lbs and hung from her belly. Our vet estimates it was there for over a year and she must have been so burdened and in pain from such a heavy tumor. She has had all of the tumors removed and biopsied and 2 did come back cancerous. The smaller tumors were caused from too much sun exposure, so we know she was left outside most her life. Hazel is the most loving and forgiving dog. She loves men especially and as you can see if her 3rd photo, she likes walks but wont walk for long! She is a little overweight so we are working on increasing her endurance on walks and she is on a very healthy diet. Hazel wants nothing more then to love people and be inside lounging with her people! We saved Hazel in honor of Angel at Stand Up For Pits Foundation. Her adoption fee will be waived as she has cancer but she is looking for a family who will help her live out her golden years as cozy and happy as possible.
