Tonya's Story...
M16-060 Tonya
I'm TONYA. I'm a flame point Siamese X tabby, two years old. It's been a tough year, and I'm ready for something better. I was an older man's favorite kitten, but then his wife went into care, so my siblings and I were dumped. Magicats helped by getting our medical work done and most of us placed. My placement was good until the man who was supposed to love me forever moved away and left me. Not my fault! I need to get my life on track, so I'm looking for help. I'd love to be a special friend to a lonely man or woman, or even a couple, as long as they like kitties, but, full disclosure, I really need to be the one and only pet! I'm healthy, current on my shots, spayed and negative for FIV/FELV. I'm also beautiful, loving and cheerful. I love long conversations, lap time, and a place by you near the television. And, if it's not too much trouble, a cat tree near a window so I can guard the property would be nice! I really, really need to get settled in Real Life, so let's talk about it, okay?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tonya, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
