Gage's Story...
Meet Gage! Gage is an 8 month old, 45 lb Shepherd mix who is looking for his forever home. Gage is heartworm negative, loves other dogs and cats, and would love to have an active family to run and play with! Gage would make a great companion for hiking, lounging, or TV watching! Gage is an all around good dog with some room to grow and learn! While he does need some training, house-training included, what he needs most is someone with love to give and time to dedicate to helping him be the best dog he could be!

Adoption fee is $150 and includes vet exam, vaccinations, microchip, monthly prevention, heartworm check, and neuter! Contact Molly's Mutts at mollysmuttsanimalrescue@yahoo.com to request an adoption application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gage, a Dixon Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Dixon, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Dixon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dixon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dixon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dixon paves the way for another one to be saved.
