Facts about Opal

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Senior
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Opal is a very affectionate and sweet guy. He is white with black patches and an unusual, exotic face. He is a little older, about twelve years old, but in good health. He has been at the sanctuary all of this time and has had to share attention time with lots of other cats. He is always hoping to get the humans to pay more attention to him. He really needs more love than he is able to get with so many others around. He keeps on trying – always anticipating your next move so he can place himself, where you can see him and the hope in his eyes. He will climb into your lap for petting if you will let him. Opal gets along okay with other cats so would be okay in a household with other cats. He would also be fine as the only kitty in the house.

When you find a companion that is perfect for you, we will ensure that your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots and microchipped.

At Brigid's Crossing we take the time to care for the animals until they are safe in their new homes which we believe makes for a healthy and happy transition for all involved.

All of our animals are chipped, spay/neutered and up to date on current shots.
