found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Holly was a stray that was found severely emaciated, with a bad ear infection and a tumor on her mammary gland. To top it off the poor girl tested positive for heartworms. She isn’t a young girl (around 8 yrs. old) and looks to have had many litters of puppies but is so loving and sweet.
The good news is her Heartworm had not progressed to her lungs and heart showing any damage and she was treated and received the all clear. She has been spayed and her tumor was removed and all and all her prognosis looks good.
Having been starved for so long, Holly is now prone to overeating and gaining weight which is very unhealthy for her and a new family will need to commit to exercise and a new diet. Due to her system now being so unused to processing fats, Holly will need to be on a low fat food for the remainder of her life, but has some good years left in her yet.
She LOVES her people and being cuddled on the couch is one of her favorite activities. She also LOVES to walk and explore and isn't a fan of stopping unless it's for her to sniff. Because she likes to explore you have to be careful when opening doors to the outside world, or she might just take herself for a walk!
She's good with other dogs, great with kids and is potty and crate trained. She's a beautiful girl who needs to find a forever family of her own!
