Opie's Story...
THAT NOSE!! Opie is a Staffordshire Terrier mix born in June 2015. His nose says it all goofy, playful and full of personality. One look at his adorable face and you can't help but fall in love with his charm. Opie gets along well with other dogs and loves to play and snuggle with them, but he should not live with cats, because he likes to chase them. Just a big puppy that needs a variety of appropriate Nylabones and toys to chew on. Full of puppy energy, a fenced in yard where he can run and chase his toys is a must. He enjoys going for walks and car rides. Opie is a big cuddle-bug and thinks he is a lap dog. He is crate and house trained.

To help Opie get acclimated to his new home, the adoption fee includes 1 complimentary training session with the rescue’s trainer.

If you would like to make Opie a forever member of your family please apply on line at Animal Aid Foundation Adoption and Foster Application

The adoption fee is $150 and includes: neuter, microchip, vaccines, and 1 in home complimentary training session with the rescue’s trainer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Opie, a Rochester Hills American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Rochester Hills, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Rochester Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
