found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.
Kobe will be a year old on April 30, 2016. He is a neutered male, had all his shots, litterbox trained, microchipped and would be good with other “Friendly Kitties”. He is a Gentle Giant, so kids would probably be okay.
Kobe was born last April underneath a person’s deck with a brother and sister who were taken in by the homeowner. So this January we took Kobe so he wouldn’t be alone. Kobe came to me as a 9 month old “kitten” and took my breath away. He is the tallest kitten I had ever seen and he is ADORABLE. He has white back legs which look like basketball socks, so he became Kobe in honor of Kobe Bryant.
He was unsure what humans were at first, but he has not shown any aggressive behavior at all. He was afraid of me in January, but soon grew to love being petted. He will hide his eyes when you pet him, hang upside down from the pet tree and watch you clean his litterbox, and will sit by his door gate and call for you, then run when you come. When you pick him up he clings to you in a death grip.
He will probably be VERY shy with you at first, but talking and petting him will bring him around quickly. Patience is the key with this big guy. He has learned that humans bring food and toss and can give you great rub downs. So he really wants that connection. He is big, but he is just a kitten and more innocent than most. He can make you laugh out loud with some of his expressions and will warm your heart when he chirps and talks to you.
He will probably be good with other kitties as he has tried so hard to make friends with the two females that are in the same area, but they hiss and growl at him so he runs. He is a lover, not a fighter.
I can bring him to our Petsmart location if you are interested in meeting him, but he is way too shy yet to leave there for general viewing.
