Hera's Story...
Hera is available to foster. If interested please contact us at: foster@nyanimalrescue.org

Hera is our beautiful 4 year old Cane Corso mix. Hera may be a large girl, but don't let her looks fool you, she has a heart made of cotton candy. This girl is sugary sweet and great with all humans, big and small. Hera is a smart cookie who knows her basic commands and she would love to learn more in her forever home. Hera may initially pull on the leash, but that is only because she is excited to be outside, and she settles down to make a lovely walking partner. This brindle beauty does well with most pups, but is not a fan of cats. Before being rescued, Hera was sadly used by a by a backyard breeder for her puppies. Nothing would make us happier than to see this goddess in her forever home, being showered with nothing but love.

Hera is spayed, dewormed, treated to prevent fleas & ticks and is up to date with vaccinations. Her fee is $300.00 and she'll get one free exam at our vet's office, one free month of pet health insurance and a microchip. If you'd like to adopt her please call or visit...we are conveniently located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn near the F train and we're open every day from 11am to 7pm. Hera can't wait to meet you! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hera, a Brooklyn Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
