George is a sweet and beautiful 5 year old tabby. He was born in Queens to a stray mom, adopted as a small kitten and was a much-loved, pampered pet until his owner recently passed away. He is currently staying at a downtown Brooklyn veterinarian's office until a permanent home can be found.

George is outgoing, vocal, very friendly and smart, and loves catnip and cuddling. George is affectionate with kids but is territorial toward other cats and would ideally be the only cat in a home.

He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, very healthy and has no litter box issues.

To meet George, please contact Belinda, at belinda@cooperdooper.org

Thank you for thinking of a rescue cat in need of a loving home!

All Brooklyn Animal Action cats are available to adopt or foster to adopt.

About Brooklyn Animal Action

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
