Hi, my name is Foxie, because I'm just so pretty. I'm a petite little girl. I am quiet, but playful. I'm curious to see what's going on and if I hear a jingle ball, you bet I'll be right there to participate in jingle ball soccer.
I am shy and a little timid so my new family will have to have a little patience with me. I like affection on my own terms, but I'll follow you around to find out if what you are doing is interesting. If I see a wiggle under the blanket, I'll definitely come to save you from the Toe Monster.
In my foster family I have other cats and dogs to play with. When I first met the dogs, I was a little scared. I'll need to be introduced to other pets in the home slowly so that I can get used to them.
When I went to my foster home from the shelter, my foster mom noticed that I had watery eyes. This is something I'll probably have my whole life. It doesn't hurt me. Just wipe my face gently with a warm damp cloth and I'm good to go. My watery eyes are caused by feline rhinovirus - a respiratory virus that's not contagious to humans. It's safe for me to be around vaccinated adult cats, but I should not be around unvaccinated cats or kittens.
