Toby's Story...
This sweet boy is Toby. He's 100% sure he belongs on the cover of vogue! Toby is about year old and has a beautiful white and brindle spotted coat. He's been neutered, vetted and is fully house trained. His foster mama thinks he's a got a little hound in him, he's got an awesome bark to prove it. He weighs in at about 35 pounds and probably won't get much bigger. He's never met a bone he didn't like. A home with kids would be a perfect place for Toby, he loves to run and play but is also a super gentle cuddle bug as well. Toby is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama but is willing to relocate for love. Go to forrescue.net to fill out an application for this sweet boy. Toby can't wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Huntsville Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pointer for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pointer dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pointer breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
