Pepper's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Pepper's Story...
Meet Pepper! Pepper was found as a stray. A couple of good Samaritans joined together to keep her fed and sheltered. She was recently spayed and made her way into foster care through our community assistance program. We are still getting to know Pepper as she comes out of her shell more and more every day. Her favorite past times are lap sitting and snuggling up on cozy comforters. She does enjoy a good pet session because what princess doesn't want to be pampered? Pepper has no history with dogs and has been outside around other cats. A proper and slow introduction will be key to her success in a new home. Take Pepper home today!

My adoption fee is $85.00.

You can come visit me at our adoption events every Friday and Saturday from 1-7 pm at Petsmart at 3900 Sisk Rd, Modesto, CA 95356. To view our adoption procedures and to fill out an adoption application for me please visit our website at http://www.humanestanislaus.care/adoption. Once your adoption application has been approved we will set up a time to meet at Petsmart to finalize my adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Modesto Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Modesto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Modesto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Modesto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Modesto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Modesto paves the way for another one to be saved.
