Honey's Story...
Our sweet orphaned babies are thriving and growing like weeds. This sweet litter came to us at just 4 days old after their mother passed away. Our amazing momma dog Ginny, who had 5 -- 5 week pups of her own, took them in and started nursing them right away. Poor little Honey who was half the size of her siblings just couldn't fight off her siblings to nurse and was quickly declining so we decided it was best to pull her and put her with a bottle feeder. She has since been thriving with her AMAZING bottle feeder. Hank, Hannah and Harley have also done wonderful with the AMAZING momma Ginny. They are now 6 weeks old. Tiny Honey weighs just 1.6 lbs and the others are right around 3lbs each. We are unsure of their breed but believe they will be small to medium in size when full grown. We were told their mother was a terrier/chi/min pin mix and was around 15-20 lbs. They have been dewormed and Honey has received her first set of vaccinations. The others will not get theirs until this coming week due to a cough they have been battling. They will then be ready for their forever homes on 5/9 after they have been altered and have had their second set of vaccinations.

All puppies have a adoption fee of $150 which includes vet check, age appropriate shots, dewormer, rabies shot if atleast 16 weeks of age and neuter! Puppies can not go to their adoptive families until they have had 2 sets of shots and been neutered. With an approved application a puppy can be reserved if a $50 non refundable deposit is put down! The deposit will be applied to the adoption fee and $100 will be due at the time of pick up! Get your applications in now!

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
