My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birdie is a female Poodle mix approximately 12-16 months of age. She has a soft curly, non-shedding coat that is creamy white in color with less hair on her rear and tail area from flea infestation and life on the streets. Birdie is sturdy little dog, weighing 7 lbs 4 oz. with strong muscles in her legs. She can run fast when chasing other dogs in the yard. She would do best in a home with a secure yard so she can explore. She is mild mannered inside the home and seems to be house trained. Birdie is affectionate and eager to please. She was shy at first and reluctant to enter the house as though she was previously not allowed in the home. She is very quiet and unassuming, settling down at your feet or maybe in a nearby dog bed. Birdie has very few demands other than her desire to be near her foster family. She is such a love and really wants a family or person to call her own. Birdie was rescued by Hope for Paws as she had been living as a stray. Birdie is good with other small dogs, but its people she wants to form a bond. Birdie is healthy and is ready for her new forever home!

You can meet Birdie this SATURDAY, APRIL 30, at ARK ANTIQUES 7620 Girard Ave., La Jolla, CA from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
