My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alisa is a female Poodle/Maltese mix approximately 3 years old. She has soft curls that are white and non-shedding. Alisa was found in a neglected condition living on the streets in a commercial area. She has been groomed and is now sporting a short hair cut. Her coat does require daily brushing to keep mats from forming. She weighs 6 ½ pounds fully grown and has dark shiny eyes and a dark nose. Alisa likes people, especially a man. Alisa is not your typical rescue dog as she a unique personality. She prefers sitting in chairs or a bookcase in place of a dog bed. When she wants attention, she stands on her hind legs, waves her front paws, and makes cute sounds like “wawawa.” She will also poke her head out of the bookcase when you enter the room, and say “wawawa.” She gets along with other small dogs, but she prefers a relationship with a person. Alisa is a “picky eater” and prefers “people” food vs. dog food. She walks fine on leash and really likes to go for rides in the car. She is calm and well behaved in the car. She would thrive in a home where she is the pampered princess and “her person” has time to be her companion. If you are seeking a devoted little pet, she is a great choice. Alisa is ready for her new forever home today.
