Facts about Hoo

  • Breed: Beagle Mix
  • Color: Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
**Update: Hokie passed away. Now it is only Hoo.
Hokie and Hoo are two of the sweetest, squishiest, submissive, groan and squeal with joy when you pet them, little older Beagle boys. They are actually on the big size for Beagles, maybe 35 pounds. They like other dogs and love people. Fine with cats. They love to play in the yard, go for walks, but mostly snuggle inside. They need to go to a home with a fenced yard. They have always been together (and the guess is that they are 11-12 years old), so they can only go as an adorable bonded pair. If interested, please contact Bev at 804-248-3042 or

About Our Rescue Group...

Tramp's Rescue is an all volunteer organization. We are a small organization that rescues dogs from local animal shelters and other places.

We typically keep around thirty dogs at a time. We provide all necessary medical treatments including spaying or neutering, heartworm, and anything the veternarian recommends.

Once we rescue a dog, that dog will stay with us until he/she finds a good home.

We hold weekly adoption stands at different local stores such as Petco and Petsmart.

We are a non-profit organization dependent on donations to rescue these dogs. We can use any type of assistance you can provide, such as volunteer dog handlers, foster homes for dogs, or donations of food or money
