Chico is a sweet dog that gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home! He likes to play outside in the yard with his humans, and also layout to sleep in the sun. He quickly learned 'sit' and 'go to your kennel'. Chico is treat motivated and would do well with positive training to learn more commands.
He is house trained and crate trained although I wouldn't leave my shoes out because he thinks they are toys. He enjoys the company of 4 children between ages 4-11 and plays with them - however, he doesn't currently live with children. He is the funniest dog with a slight under bite and when he sits and waits for a treat he shows you that very slight under bite and his cute bottom teeth. He also likes to lay his head on your lap as you watch tv.
If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet!
The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Chico is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
