Description: A super sweet pig....has a lot of energy, loves his lettuce is NOT pair-able with another male but a super pick if you are looking for a single guinea pig. He was surrendered because his former owner had allergies to him. Guinea pigs fur is actually the same as human hair and is call hair, not fur. You can not be allergic to a guinea pig unless you are allergic to your own hair. You CAN though be allergic to things in the guinea pigs environment like the hay, bedding etc. There are lots of alternatives to using the traditional beddings ...... Fleece, Carefresh, Aspen, etc... Oat hay has fewer allergens then Timothy Hay the traditional hay.

$20 Fee For Pairing
Pairing involves bringing your guinea pig to the shelter. There we have you pick three guinea pigs we have helped you pick providing information we may have on them and the likelihood of pairing them. We then introduce them at which time Shannon will show you how pairing works and what to look for during the pairing process. There is no formula for pairing other than finding the right personalities to match.
There is a 50/50 chance we will not be able to find a pair that day. There is a 50/50 chance they will not remain paired at some point in the future. But if we are successful (and Shannon has an 85% success rate of pairing) then we waive the fee to pair and only charge the regular adoption fee. (see above).

Please complete the pre-adoption form first, appointments are scheduled only after being approved to adopt.!pre-adoption-form/c2076
