  • Hair: Short
Brooke is someone who would be so grateful for a home. She was anonymously dropped off in a carrier in the sanctuary parking area in 2011, like an orphan on the steps of a church. Poor, sad, little Brooke! It took her a long time to heal her spirit – she was afraid of living in a multi-cat atmosphere and touchy around humans for a long time. She has finally gotten used to be around the other cats and trusts humans again and has turned out to be quite affectionate. Brooke is a short-haired black and white female, with a tuxedo pattern. She is at least six years old, but might be older. Now that she is trusting humans again, she is seeking attention. When you pet her, she gives you loving looks and leans into your hand. It is very heart-warming – especially considering what she went through. Even though Brooke has gotten more used to being around other cats, she really would be happiest in a household where she is the only kitty. She really wants a one-on-one relationship with a kind and caring human companion.
