Dutch's Story...
Dutch is an orange and white short haired boy. He’s a complete joy to have around. Dutch is super playful and energetic. He loves to play with the laser pointer and he is often involved in all the playful interactions with the other cats. Dutch is also very comfortable around the dog.

Dutch is loving and loves to rub is forehead against yours. He is unique in that he likes water and will stand at the edge of the tub as my son takes a bath. Dutch loves to drink water out of the faucet. He also gets along very well with the other cats. Dutch is a little more docile and he often gets bossed around by the others.

If you would like to adopt the playful Dutch, please visit www.KittyDevoreRescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutch, a Redlands Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Redlands, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Redlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
