Sophie - N's Story...
Introducing Sophie. Sophie is a happy girl but she is very shy. We’d like an experienced family for her that has the time and patience to guide her using positive reinforcement so she can become more grounded and confident. She has good house manners and is house trained and is learning to walk on leash but this training will need to be continued so she can continue to progress. A quiet home without a lot of commotion would be best for Sophie, so no young kids please. A fenced in yard for Sophie is a must. We are confident that with the proper guidance and leadership that Sophie will blossom. Her estimated year of birth is 2014 and her weight is around 28 lbs. To learn more about Sophie please email RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie - N, a Huntington Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
