Arthur's Story...
Mix: Possibly Corgi/Terrier
Age: ~3 years young
Size: 12-15 lbs

Meet Arthur (aka #adoptTheIncredibleArthur on Instagram)! We rescued Arthur originally in 2014 after he had been hit by a car and left at the shelter. He suffered multiple pelvic fractures, but with proper vet care and lots of TLC he made a full recovery! He was adopted by a family, but after nearly two years with him they decided they no longer "had time for him" and relinquished him to our rescue.

Well, 3rd time will definitely be a charm for this cuddly, handsome, funny, and wicked smart fella! Arthur is attentive, a quick learner, incredibly affectionate (he excels at spooning!), and gets along with other dogs. He is house trained in his current foster home and walks well on leash.

Please email info@whatsupdogla.com for more info or to complete an adoption questionnaire.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arthur, a Los Angeles Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
