Facts about Joe

  • Breed: Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Joe loves to play with his ball or any toy in the yard . He will bring the ball back but dropping it for you is another matter even though he wants you to throw it over and over again. The two tennis ball method usually works. Joe is one of our very wonderful and active dogs who would love to find a great home where he can run and play. He does have some special needs that have to be met and with the right person he will be a great addition to the home.

So some of his must haves are:
1)NO OTHER DOGS IN THE HOUSEHOLD-it's not that he hates all dogs, it's just that he is very, very toy possessive and will bite another dog that goes after his toy.
2)NO CATS OR CHICKENS OR LIZARDS ...EVER- he's super prey driven.
3)ONLY OLDER KIDS-best if they are at least in their teens. Joe is a strong dog who needs love and attention and someone who knows how to handle his strong personality.

Our Adoption Process...

+ The Lange Foundation requires possible adopters to complete a two page adoption application form. Based on that information we decide if the home and the pet are compatible. We do not do same-day adoptions.
+ We do do a home check if you are adopting a dog.
+ If all the above is complete and approved we proceed to fill out a contract with the adopter.
+ We do have a fee and it depends on the age of the pet you are choosing to adopt. Please call us for more information about our adoption fees.
