Frosty - Watch his video!'s Story...
Frosty is approximately 10 years old. When we saw him at the Shelter we just couldn't leave him there. He is missing most of his teeth and can be a little stiff in the mornings.....wait, I think I just described my uncle! Other than that he is still very playful and loves to go for short walks. He rides really well in the car and just needs someone to call his own. Frosty is looking for a quiet laid back family to spend his golden years with. Frosty is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.00. For more information about Frosty please give us a call at 541-788-1406. We would love to talk with you! For an adoption application, please visit our website at www.leadandlove.org. Thank you for looking at one of our dogs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frosty - Watch his video!, a Bend Maltese/American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/American Eskimo Dog for sale in Bend, or seeking a Maltese/American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Bend.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bend already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bend breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with Maltese/American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bend paves the way for another one to be saved.
