Meet Rondo! This beautiful brindle Cane Corso came from Georgia when his family no longer wanted him since he was getting older. His family paid to dock his ears and tail but they didn't pay for his eyelids to be fixed and as a result he has permanent scratches on his eyes that look like a skating rink and caused partial blindness. However, once he learns the layout of your home you could never tell he has any eyesight issues. He is a really low maintenance dog and is happy napping on a comfy couch or dog bed all day. He doesn't need crated and can be trusted in the house alone all day. He has never had an accident in the house and will hold it even when his foster mom unexpectedly works late. He loves toys and will play independently until he gets his energy gets out so he really is the easiest dog! His foster mom has had him for almost a year and is madly in love with him but wants to find him his forever home. Due to his eyesight issues he will either need to placed as the only dog or with an extremely laid back (preferably smaller) dog as he feels threatened during initial greets when he smells another dog. He loves his English mastiff foster brother and yorkie sister but needed time to build trust with them. He loves kids but would do best with older kids due to his size and blindness. Fence is preferred. Apply at www.mastiffstomutts.org Fostered in Williamsport PA.
