Contessa, or Tess, is a beautiful grey and white Persian mix born approximately 11/23/2007.
Tess was rescued from a family who had an alpha kitty and a dog. She was too fearful of her environment and just needed a place of her own. She has the personality of a royal kitty. If you are a cat person or have ever had a Persian, you will be intrigued by her ability to maintain a regal pose when she is in a safe environment.
Tess is a special kitty, a true gem, and would make a wonderful companion to a cat lover who is interested in a single pet, or possibly a home with a kitten that she could mentor. She sleeps with her foster mom and is not fearful of kittens she has been fostered with.
Tess loves to be brushed and combined with conversation, she will respond with yoga poses and much appreciation that is quite humorous. She will be your kitty completely! She is easily intimidated, therefore, she can get a bit scared or overstimulated and nip at her foster to indicate she prefers slow and steady handling. She has long beautiful fur that requires trimming a couple of times a year to keep her at her best.
Tess is currently in a foster home and her adoption fee is $95.
